Python Pool
Python Pool is located within the picturesque Millstream-Chichester Range National Park, south of Roebourne. It is a stunning spot for a swim in a cool refreshing rock pool whilst enjoying the spectacular backdrop of the imposing rugged ochre cliffs. The pool itself is located under the two large red rock cliffs, with a waterfall running from overhead during the wet season. Swimming is possible in the pool but is best after rain when the water is fresh. Due to the muddy bottom, the water is murky despite being clean. Fish and freshwater turtles live in the deep pool.

About the photographer
Iโm Allyn Cooper. Iโm a FIFO/Karratha resident working in the Oil & Gas sector who dabbles in photography. Ultimately I aim to tour this great nation after retirement and take as many photographs as I can. Iโve probably been serious about my photography for about ten years now but I remember being interested even as a pre-teen (a long time ago unfortunately)
