Mt Bruce, After the Rains (Hamersley Range, WA)
View of Mt Bruce (Punurrunh) in the Hamersly Range whilst driving through Karinjini National Park after a cyclone brought significant rain to the region. The rains brought the landscape to life with an abundance of different grasses, contrasting colours of green and yellow against the silver of the tree trunks and hues of ochre that abound in the Pilbara of Western Australia.

About the photographer
Photography was something I dabbled with using my Dadโs Yashica camera, before buying my first SLR camera back in the 90โs.
Life took me away from photography for a while. When my when my children were born, I rediscovered my love for photography and began to document the start of their journey and our family adventures.
There is something truly special in creating images that tell a story, evoke an emotion or awaken a memory.
Photography allows me space to find calm in a busy world, freedom to be creative, to explore a variety of photographic genres; from portraiture, nature, abstract and urban landscapes, to the incredible wonders of astro-photography.
