Le Mont-Saint-Michel – France

Helena Kristel

This magnificent historical place was high on my bucket list. I was excited to finally visit in April 2023 and stayed four nights in a nearby village within walking distance to the Mont. Having an extended stay afforded me opportunities to photograph the Mont from a variety of angles and at various times of the day.

This particular day, I headed out around sunrise. The Mont looked mystical with a light mist and bathed in soft pink light. I remember being in awe of the beauty at that time of the morning and feeling very happy to see and photograph the Mont awash in the beautiful early light and reflected in the water from this particular angle.
